Fatal Run 2089 is a reimagination of Atari’s classic Fatal Run, for the Atari 7800. Reborn as a Arcade racing combat game, inspired in titles such as Burnout, Fatal Run 2089 puts the pedal to the metal in a explosive and absurd comeback.
My activities
Acted as a late Game and Level Designer from October, 2024 until the game’s launch (TBA).
As a Game Designer, I was responsible for:
- Create competent documentation in order to communicate with the Development team
- Reworking core systems such as the Abilities System
- AI Combat Design
- AI Behavior Design
- General Game Balancing
- Player onboarding experience
- Reworking Boss Battles
Used tools: Figma, Google Sheets/Excel, Draw.io, Unreal Data Assets.
As a Level Designer, I was responsible for:
- Creating new level content
- Reworking outdated levels
- Improve level readability
Used tools: Figma, Unreal’s Spline System, Unreal’s Landscape System, Unreal’s BP system.
