I have graduated as a Bachelor’s in Game Design at Anhembi Morumbi, and am currently pursuing specialization as a Game and Level Designer.
I enjoy the design process regardless of genre, but I have a special fondness and speciality for MetroidVania, Action Roguelikes, ARPG and turn-based RPGs. Working effectively in teams, I pursue creative and technical challenges that foster personal growth.
My pantheon of favorite games include:
Persona 5, Undertale/Deltarune, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Hollow Knight, Clair Obscur and Sekiro.
The game designer that inspires my work the most is Mr. Masahiro Sakurai. I love how Sakurai can make a game easy to understand, and yet absurdly complex on its intricacies. Such is the case with the Smash Series and it’s simplified inputs relative to other fighting games, making it so anyone can intuitively play the game, but only a few can trully master it. Everyone can have fun, even if their idea of fun is completely different from others idea of fun.
I also admire profoundly the work and legacy of Satoru Iwata, not only for his contributions as a Programmer, but also to the kind of attitude that I want to reflect myself; A selfless passion to the medium of games, an endless dedication to the people who work with me on creating those experiences and, of course, the meaning for the people who’ll play these crafts.
